  1. In a deep pot, heat some oil and add the mustard seeds
  2. When it starts popping add the fennel seeds, 1 bay leaf, cinnamon stick and the cashews
  3. Saute for a couple of minutes and add the green chillies and onions
  4. A few minutes later add the tomatoes
  5. Next the masala powders go in
  6. Add some water and let it cook
  7. When it comes to a boil, add the frozen veggies and some salt to taste
  8. Coat the base of a pressure cooker with some ghee
  9. Transfer the contents of the pot to the cooker, add the two cups of rice, 4 cups of water, some salt
