- Stir coffee powder and 2 tablespoons whiskey with whisk until combined. Since i am not using oven, i steamed same in a "kadai" with water boiling around it for 20-30 seconds until mixture becomes warm and set the same aside.
- In a large bowl, add dry ingredients - maida and sugar and mix. Melt the butter and mix milk to same and beat it for 1 min. Add to maida and sugar and beat together until sugar dissolves. Add Yoghurt and mix with the batter. Add baking powder and vanilla essence and beat it.
- To the above batter add water and whiskey. The batter will be more liquid than normal cake batter.
- Pour into a greased and dusted cake tin. Keep in dry pressure cooker without whistle on a stand.
- High flame for 2 minutes, medium for 5 minutes, low for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes.
- In small heavy saucepan, mix sauce ingredients. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved and butter is melted.
- To serve, place cakes on dessert plates; drizzle with sauce.
