- 1 tsp carrom seeds (half crushed)
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida
- 1 lemon juice
- 3 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1 tbsp cold oil
- 2 tbsp hot oil
- as per required Water
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- As required Oil for deep frying
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- For Besan Chutney :--
- 2 tbsp gram flour (besan)
- as per taste Salt
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- as required Water
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp asafoetida
- 2 finely chopped green chilli
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp yoghurt
- For Garnishing :--
- as required Fried green chillies
- as required Tomato ketchup
Instructions to make to make Methi Pakoda With Besan Chutney
- First add dried whole coriander, black pepper and fennel in a desi mixer and take a coursly crush. Now take it out in a bowl.



- Now add ginger-chili paste, fenugreek leaves, green coriander leaves, salt, sugar, crushed carom seeds, asafoetida and lemon juice in this half-crushed mixer and mix everything well.



- Then add besan and mix it by hand. Now add 1 tbsp oil and mix it. Then add a little bit of water and make the batter a little thicker. Now add turmeric powder and mix well.



- Now heat the oil as needed in a large pan to fry the pakoda. Once the oil is hot, mix the baking soda and 2 tbsp hot oil in the mixer of fenugreek pakoda's batter.



- When the oil becomes moderately hot, add spoonfuls of the methi pakoda batter to the hot oil. Once the pakodas are cooked lightly, turn over and cook the other side. Fry on medium gas flame till they become golden and crisp. Fry some green chillies along with it.



- Now let's make besan chutney. To do this, first add besan, salt, turmeric powder and water in a bowl, shake well with a whisker and prepare a smooth batter.



- Now heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and then add asafoetida, green chillies and saute for a while. Now add some water and let it boil for 1 minute.
